Concepcion is a good prospect but he still needs to move up in competition before he challenges for a title. He is still young so i don't see much sense in rushing him.Comment

What's with rushing these prepubescent Pinoys into title shots? Give me a break, Concepcion is 20 years old and hasn't even seen a different style other than face-first. We saw what happened with pushing Boom Boom Bautista too fast. Whoever is behind Concepcion and is talking about putting him in with Vasquez or De Leon is a poisonous influence and incompetent. Arum would be making the mistake of a lifetime to push a genuinely talented prospect too fast.Comment

Bernabe Concepcion is a good prospect. His physical build is very solid at 122 lbs. His last fight agaist Ruiz has exposed his inexperience.
In order to compete at the championship level, he should develop his inside game. Then, his need speed & quickness (both feet & hands) because i can clearly see that he's very slow... and last his STAMINA!!!
I am excited to see him against Ponce de Leon late this year..... both are stocky...
This will be EXPLOSIVE!!!
