The heavyweight division has many decent fighters but not too many great fighters in it, that's why a guy like James Toney who started his career at 154 and at 100 years old had great success in the heavyweight division for about 3 years.

Sorry dude, but James Toney never won a world heavyweight title. He could have against Ruiz, but then he was caught using steroids.

I pretty sure with enough roids, Pavlik could be a heavyweight too.

Whatever you say, most heavyweights are in steroids and are getting away with it. Toney out boxed Ruiz with 1 arm.

Toney's 7 fight resume in the HW division is really good.

Kelly Pavlik does not have the chin to make it in the heavyweight division, steroids does not improve your chin just like Lennox Lewis said. Look at Wlad, he juices and he can't take a great punch.

you must have reading comprehension problems. I never said the division was great. its descent but improving. toney had some success as he was lucky enough to get in when byrd and ruiz had titles. its improved since they and briggs got owned

toney got owned by friggin hasim rahman for christ sakes. he was lucky enough to face ruiz who's just too damn slow to beat smaller guys with any hand speed and toney still needed roids to get through the fight. sorry but he failed at heavyweight

Sure if you count a 41 year old Holyfield, who was 2-3-1 in his 6 fights prior.

No, you get all mad cause a person thinks the heavyweight is ****. Lets face it, most people don't give a **** about the heavyweight division, so don't get all crazy if someone thinks the division sucks.

I enjoy watching every division and that includes the heavyweight division but I know it's not a great division cause everyone is losing. That's what happens when you have bunch of decent fighters fighting each other.
