Exactly why I would want to see them fight. Valuev falling down would make a huge noise and it would be a sight to see. The HW division needs some kind of good exposure to the casual fan and a fight between two big guys may catch their attention. I bet Valuev fights Chagaev later in the year and I don't know if we will see Valuev/Wlad.

Valuev is back with Don King and Wlad will not go near King's fighter. If they do fight, it would be only if Valuev gets his belt back and if King is out of the picture. That said, Valuev vs. Wlad would be a lot more competitive fight than most people think. Wlad cannot tie Valuev up if gets too close because it's like trying to stop a train. Wlad also has no inside game whatsoever, while Valuev has a pretty good uppercut. Add to that the fact that Valuev cannot be knocked down by a human being, and you have a pretty good fight on your hands. Wlad knows that, I don't think he would want to face Valuev.

I don't think even Wlad could KO Valuev, would be crazy if he did. I see him decisioning him convincingly, probably 116-112 around that area.

wald is just much too quick and accurate for valuev. I think valuev would be stopped with his back against the ropes taking too many punches

its a shame that don king has partial control over valuev. should valuev get the belt back from chagaev, valuev/klitschko would be the most marketable matchup at heavyweight

I thought Valuev looked pretty good against Liakhovich, but I don't see him having the power to trouble Wlad, nor being quick enough to catch him with anything. He does have a pretty decent jab, especially when he doubles up with it. Val has what seems to be a granite chin and actually doesn't have that bad a defence considering, so I don't see a knockout in this one. I think it would come down to activity, with the edge going to Wlad.

Wlad by UD. But he'd better be careful, Valuev isnt a particuarly hard puncher, but all that weight tires fighters out. I'd be interested to see how Wlad deals with someone at least 6 inches taller. He's never been that much shorter than his opponent.
