naw I dont approve but I dont care. Its better for him to stay active for this year or year and a half, so when and if cotto cleans out the division he will not be coming off of 18-24 months rest and have to shake the ring rust off. he will just be able to go right into the ring and beat the living **** out of cotto, a beating like you have never seen before. A roy jones montell griffin kind of beating. but he wont knock him out he will punish cotto and not get hit. he will fight the same way he did baldy and cotto will not land a solid punch. floyd will win via TKO in the tenth with cotto cut over both eyes and bleeding from the mouth. it will be brutal and mayweather will cement his legacy as the BEST fighter of all time. even the haters will have to give it to him. some will say SRR and will not give floyd his cedit but after that legacy defining fight mayweather will be the consensus P4P king of all time. Thats what I really think.

Cotto still has 5 years left....

Horus and I feel the same about the fight. It will be Baldy and Floyd all over again, but this time it will be worse. Cotto will be busted open and bleeding. Then in the 6th he will go low and will just piss floyd off even more. Floyd will step up his game and TKO in the 10th due to doctor's stoppage. Cotto will retire after that fight because he will be exposed as cherry picken his fights and fighting guys with good names past their prim and at the end of their career just to pad his resume to even be in the same ring as Floyd.

I, personally, think that it's ridiculous that Floyd isn't fighting Cotto. If he fought Cotto in April and beat him convincingly he'd probably have every critic shut their mouths. But instead he takes a vacation and decides to fight DLH again. Sad, really.

Cotto has been rocked by fighters at 140, what do you think a legitimate KO artist at 154 would do to him. I am a fan of Floyd, Oscar, and Cotto, I just think Cotto is still improving and wouldnt present as many problems as Oscar does at this moment. The last fight was a split decision how does a rematch not make sense.

The only reason their last fight was a split decision was because of one dumb ass judge. The first Mosley-DLH fight was a split decision and that was bogus too. At 147 Cotto would tear Oscar up. What made you think that Oscar was a legitimate KO artist at 154 anyways? And while I understand this fight, I sure as hell don't approve it.

Cotto has a better shot, than both Hatton and De La Hoya.

Floyd would look the same as in the De La Hoya fight, but Cotto has more head head movement. Yea Cotto might lose, but you gotta admit that he has a chance. People who don't see that are liening to themselves. You can never discredit a fighter who has power. They will always have a chance. This is boxing fellas. All talk as is Cotto's defense is as bad as Hatton's. Come on now.
