I think his pride would drive him to take at least one final fight at 168 lbs in the UK. Maybe he'd fight Froch, assuming he beats Inkin.

I don't think anyone is going to say that.

Joe is a career super middle and has been bursting out of the seams for years at that weight.

I personally think he will be the physically stronger fighter out of the two, which is why I don't think Hopkins has much chance.

JC walks around at 14 stone apparently. That's 28 pounds over the super middle limit. He is a bigger man than Hops I think. Though I know he did debut at light heavy.

Nobody is good enough to dominate Joe, least of all Bernard "3 punches and a headbutt" Hopkins. Most idiotic thing I have read in a while. If Joe "loses" this fight, it will be because he is a white welshman, no other reason. ****ing yanks and their gift decisions is the only thing I am nervous about in this fight.
are you serious? anybody can be beat on any given night. stop gasing joe up. he very good but damn put the beer down mate.

I did not say Calzaghe will lose to Bernard, infact I think he will win a clear UD. I was just giving a scenario and example of what might become of Calzaghe IF he loses(And figuring that anything is possible in boxing-we've already had some upsets this year-It was not THAT idiotic), and it was my opinion that the only reason he would retire is if he was dominated by Hopkins. Don't need to get all offensive.

B-Hops is taller. Anyway it's not like he is going to utilize that. He is primarily an inside fighter now. I doubt at 44 years old he is as physically strong as Calzaghe who has been in with bigger men than Hops anyway. I don't think Hops can get the better of Joe in the inside, so bullying Joe and making it scrappy is going to be difficult. That ****, won't win him the fight anyway.

I have a sneaky su****ion the fight will be competitive, but when I think about it I just can't see how.
