I keep hearing Mayorga-Cotto in June and I'm like wtf?? I thought it was close to a done deal for Margarito to fight Cotto if both of them win their fights in April (which I'm sure they both will). Mayorga-Cotto sounds good but I doubt Mayorga can drop back down to 147, I much rather see Margarito fight Cotto for the fight of the century. I really hope all this **** is just Mayorga talking out of his Nica ass again, or else I'm gonna be pissed.

I hope Margarito Cotto happens because now theres talk of Mosley Cotto 2 if mosley beats judah...and Quintana fighting the winner of Cintron Margarito..i guess time will tell.

According to Cintron it's in Cintron's and Margarito's contracts that the winner of their fight will fight Cotto after Gomez.

Yes, it's going to happen in July as long as they both win in April. Mayorga was just a backup plan in case the winner of Cintron-Margarito was injured. Mayorga is a possible as Cotto's 3rd fight at the end of the year. Besides, remember it was supposed to happen last year but Marg was the one who backed out and fought Williams. I'm sure Cotto would like to get through with the bout, but it's whether you really can trust Margarito to finally agree. Remember just a few days after Quintana won his fight, there were talks between Margarito and Quintana to squash his fight with Cintron and fight Quintana for the WBO belt. It looks like that went away, now everything is set.
