Does Floyd's Size Matter In The Mainstream?

We as boxing fans know about the different weights & sizes in sports but do you think mainstream people are totally shocked when they see Floyd on regular TV?

On DWTS I thought he looked small but there were alot of women on the show and none of the men were really big either so it didnt look that bad but you could still tell he was really small. Then you had the Celebrity basketball game where he just looked like a total midget. I wonder were the mainstream people really shocked and thinking "this guy is supposed to be the best fighter in the world? He looks like he's my son's size".

Then when I heard about him being on the WWE against the Big Show, I just knew that it would look like a circus. I still havent seen it but I bet the Big Show was towering over him and was much wider. Do you think that makes him or boxing look ****** and do you think it makes mainstream people not recognize him as a real fighter because of it, you know what I mean? Not that he's a real fighter but they might not look at him the same way as they do guys like Tyson.

This still goes back to my point though that Floyd should be given way more credit then he has for his accomplishments. I always say that not only is he P4P the best fighter but he's also P4P the smallest and is always fighting bigger guys and alot of them are much bigger. I heard someone say that Calzaghe should be #1 if he beat both Hopkins & Pavlik but thats still nothing like fighting a bunch of guys who are naturally much bigger & stronger then you. Hardly any of these top guys have done it once let alone a bunch of times. Please dont tell me that fighting Hopkins at 175 counts as someone bigger either when he's fought his whole career at a smaller weight then Calzaghe except for 3 fights. Floyd standing beside Williams, Margarito, Cintron, and Oscar are no comparison. They look much bigger then him and guys like Cotto & Clottey look much wider & broader then him.

No it wont matter, what wil matter in the mainstream is Floyds lack of charisma and talent.
