He gets a PPV fight and a multi million dollar payday. Obviously Roy thinks he can beat Taylor too.

another fight that doesn't make sense at all..... BUT yet intriguing as hell!...gotta love this sport..

*edit if Roy defeats Jermain soundly...I think this puts him even with Bernard..

I can see why it would make sense for Roy...he'd use this to trash bernard (thats if Roy beats Jermain Tito-style)

While it was announced this past weekend by Bob Arum that Kelly Pavlik's next opponent could be the former middleweight champion Tito Trinidad, (B-talk) has learned that a showdown between Jermain Taylor and Roy Jones Jr. is brewing, and could take place as soon as June. Taylor has already agreed to the fight, and is willing to either give the lion's share of the purse to Jones or accept a buyout from Don King. The fight would be aired on HBO PPV, and would be fought at an agreed 170-pounds. Jones last fight was his Janunary dismantling of Tito Trinidad, while Taylor's stock rose with his hard fought, but close fight with Pavlik this past weekend. Interviews with both fighters and promoters will follow soon, but until then REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST! (7:30PM EST)

        What do you think?
Man,i gotta say,im impressed with the amount of top guys Jermain keeps fighting

A good fight, very intresting,Jones uses the Winky defence now,so its harder to connect to the chin, but he wont be able to bully Jermain like he did Tito,i might have to go with Jermain

Roy is a smart mother****er, he is going to pick fights very carefully.

If Taylor's smart he'll tell Roy to **** off and work his way through the SMW ranks the right way.

Shouldn't the winners be fighting each other?

Taylor is one hell of a dangerous tune-up fight.

Wow impressed by both for taking this bout, especially Taylor. I think it would be at a catchweight of 160. I am not to sure who to take just yet, but it would be a good bout to watch.
