All these people whining about the decision its ridiculous all your whining and crying isn't going to change jack****. So why not just give credit to both men for a great fight ?? Im a Pavlik fan but im not biased i like Taylor and i respect him as a fighter, i thought he done a great job and better than i thought he could, IMO he just didn't let his hands go enough. It was anybody's fight after 10 rounds until Pavlik edged out a close victory by winning the last 2 rounds. Now i made this thread so hopefully people can just stop this nonsense, and just give credit to both men even if your not a fan just give those guys credit for fighting there hearts out and treating us fans to a great fight. Taylor showed he was not effected by KO loss and comeback stronger and hungrier, and gave Pavlik a close and tough fight, and is the only man to last 12 rounds with Pavlik. Taylor still has a lot left and can still do great things at 168. and as for Pavlik i just hope he can get a fight with Calzaghe i would love to see that.
Why Don't People Just Give Taylor And Pavlik Credit ??

Pavlik is riding a wave like Cooney did if you ask me, even if he's more legit. That side isn't going to relent that their man won a close, close decision. Taylor, on the other hand, had people rooting for him because of the underdog syndrome (I was) and most of those fans aren't going to admit it wasn't a robbery. -
i am a huge taylor fan.. i saw it as a tough, close fight in which either man could've won.. i have no problem with pavlik winning, and had taylor won, i'd have no problem with taylor winning... both of these warriors get my full respect, and they should get everyone else's tooComment

Great post.
I've havn't been this inspired in a long time, seeing Jermain have the balls to take the immediate rematch and put on a fantastic gameplan, still being gracious in defeat. He did a lot of people proud and earned a lot of new fans.
Pavlik was excellent too.
People really should stop making ridiculous threads about who got owned who did this who did that. Both fighters are at home feet up and many millions richer. So relax.Comment

big respect to jermain for putting up a good fight, i felt he just didn't do enough in the late rounds to win. it was close, not a robbery

Please don't EVER compare Pavlik to Cooney. Gerry never won a title or ever even beat a prime top 10 contender. He was hyped up to make a "superfight" with Holmes, but he was a media creation, nothing more.Pavlik is riding a wave like Cooney did if you ask me, even if he's more legit. That side isn't going to relent that their man won a close, close decision. Taylor, on the other hand, had people rooting for him because of the underdog syndrome (I was) and most of those fans aren't going to admit it wasn't a robbery.Comment
