I know he's the WBA 'regular' champ (Joe is WBA Super Champ) and he is not without talent, but age is against him if he wants real respect from the boxing community.

He talks a great fight, but he

    1. Got beaten by an injured (bad back) Kessler. and

    2. Got knocked out by the mighty Sven Ottke!! Which in boxing terms is about as embarrassing as being caught being blown by your best friend's grandmother.

Mundine is milking it , he should not be fighting Hamden and is a class above Nader ,,, Mundine has ability to compete with anyone but I cant see him beating the WCs , I think his management know it so they just milk the domestic scene , he should have gone to the USA 2 yrs ago stepping up to the plate with the big boys .

Forget the Ottke loss , he only had a few fights was beating Ottke and got caught with a temple shot , he is vastly improved from then and would stop that Ottke today , I believe its to late for him and he has wasted his time .

He would have been cheated on points by the German Judges even if he did recover, a knockout of Sven counts as a draw in Germany!

As much as everything you say there makes sense. And sure Mundine is a total tosser who is fighting guys that he shouldn't be sanctioned to fight. Which is a continued disgrace, the disgrace which is aussie boxing.

Mundine will fight the winner of Inkin/Froch for WBC title. He will beat both comfortably. Wide UD.

He will then fight Green at the end of year. Beat him comfortably and take his WBA LHW belt.

          - The fact of the matter is, even the guy is a total arse. He lives a clean life, always in shape, doesn't drink, eat fast food. Nothing. He will be able to fight to his late 30's.

          - He has beaten every Australian fighter in sparring, no one has come close to matching it with him.

Sure hes fighting bums at the moment, but it won't last long. Mundines team are not that dumb. There waiting for Inkin/Froch. Than Danny.

Even though he is ridiculed and rightly so for being a fckwit of gigantic proportions in fighting bums. There is a lot of talent there and the guy has got a big year ahead of him.

Mundine can't make much noise if he continues to make millions in Australia fighting the guys that wash dishes at resturants. He said he wants to come to the U.S. and do his thing, time will tell

Yep. His management know this. The last three fights they have milked about $5 million dollars. Something he can retires on if he looses in the upcoming big fights. Every time he fights a bum he is loosing millions of dollars. PPV figures for Clavero and Nievas where nothing short of terrible and rightly so.

I think hes scared of fighting in America though.

                Why would he be afraid?

You didn't see his September 11 interview?

He said, that Americas foreign policy had brought it on themselves. The Australian media jumped on it and made it sound like he was Osama.

he should have never been asked to do an interview because he can't talk for ****. And the Australian media took advantage of it for a big story.

Thats the reason why he hasn't fought in the US yet, my personal opinion. Because it will likely be brought up at the first press conference.

There was a phrase used to describe Yasser Arafat which I think sums up Choc:

'He never missed an opportunity, to miss an opportunity'
