    Calzaghe vs Dawson @ Lightheavy

Bad Chad vs Joe Calzaghe at lightheavy!

This is the fight I want to see!

I think Chad beats Joe easily!
I even think Chad gets by Bernard easily!

I think that he gets past Bernard convincingly but the Calzaghe fight would be tough. I pick Dawson by tight unanimous decision in a tactical fight. His speed, age, power, and pure boxing ability would be too much for Calzaghe too handle at this point of his career.

Dawson has that classic text book style and i see him being able to get off first and make Calzaghe fight in a chess match. In a close fight, i see Dawson pulling away on the cards in the end.

Calzaghe vs dawson would be a great fight imo, If dawson does well against johnson it would be a fight i would like to see at the end off 08.

This would be a great fight, even though a disagree with your prediction. Calzaghe has said he wants to fight someone in the elite level in or approaching their prime. Given that Jermain got beat again and Kelly says he wants to defend the MW title it took him 7 years to get the only Prime, Elite fighter from MW to SMW I can think of (except Kessler, who he has beaten) is Dawson.

This would be a very fast paced fight, I'll pick Calzaghe by decision because of his experience advantage but maybe I'll change my mind after Dawson-Johnson.

              Chad Dawson?

              Who? lol

This guy needs to fight someone. Calzaghe will never fight this guy. Only if he losses.. ****.. Even losses twice.

Joe would win IMO. He would get outworked. I think Kessler would possible KO Dawson.

That's the only question mark over Dawson, his chin. He's very skillful but has has suffered what he likes to call 'flash' knockdowns in the pros and ams.
I think Joe would win by decision

Who exactly has Dawson beaten to say he beats Calzaghe?

For the record I am a fan of both but I'd fancy Joe in this fight, would be close though.

Dawson could beat Hopkins, but not Calzaghe, not yet. In fact Calzaghe would likely stop him
