Most ridiculous statements you have seen defended on this forum

    I'll start:

Edison Miranda has good technical skill.
Vernon Forrest deserved the decision he got against Ike Quartey.
Kelly Pavlik is the strongest middleweight puncher ever.

Ricardo Mayorga could beat James Toney.

Mike Tyson lost to Kevin McBride and Danny Williams because McBride and Williams were more 'evolved'.

Hearns would lose to Miguel Cotto because fighters back in the day weren't as good as the fighters today.

        Prime Roy Jones was unbeatable.

        And many more...

Ricky Hatton lost to Floyd Mayweather because of the Ref.

LOL. ****in' A I forgot about that!

            Mayweather could KO Pavlik.
Mayweather would have beaten a prime Hagler at 160.

Not on this forum, but on another...

Mayweather's resume has so many asterisks on it (too small, old, drained, personal problems, etc.) that he is P4P #30 or somewhere around that. Hopkins, on the other hand, is somewhere 7-10.

I think one of those dudes who host that internet boxing show claimed that Casamayor clearly beat Santa Cruz.

Jermain Taylor fights like a coward.
                    Holyfield-Tyson I deserved to be 1996 FOTY (over Barrera-McKinney and Gatti-Rodriguez).
