    You won't have to...

I cannot imagine, under any circumstance, that two guys coming off losses, one an HBO undercard fighter, and the other a main eventer who has only gone PPV because of his opponents popularity, would be a on PPV.

Jermain may get his first knockout in years.

This is the fight he has wanted since coming to America.
He would train his ass off for this fight and it would pay off.

There were rumors of Miranda having the flu, which I don't really believe.

I do think there is credence to the argument that he had to lose too much weight to be healthy for the fight.

He fought Allan Green at 162, which is usually a sign that a fighter is having trouble making the weight if he is fighting another fighter from the same division at a catchweight above the limit.

Also, he is ****ing dwarfing super middleweights with how much weight he gains overnight for his fights. That means that he was way too big to be fighting at middleweight.

I'm still not sure how much to read into the Pavlik fight for the career of Edison Miranda.

Hell Yeah! They were supposed to fight each other because everybody thought (including myself) that Miranda would K him TFO. Miranda talked so much **** to Taylor before he got ko'd by Pavlik.

It would be a good fight I think since both of them lost to Pavlik.

If Jermain can sucessfully back up Miranda and apply pressure he will stop him in my opinion. Miranda can't fight going backwards.

No way in hell should this be PPV. Miranda hasn't fought on anything big since the Pavlik fight and Jermain is coming off of 2 losses. HBO would be crazy.

Not only that, but neither fighter is a PPV fighter.

Taylor's only PPVs were against Hopkins twice, because Hopkins had been a PPV fighter, and Pavlik because I think they are making Pavlik into a PPV fighter, because he is so popular.

Taylor was always the most popular WCB fighter, because almost all of his fights got a countdown, even though they weren't PPV, but he never seemed to break through.

                Think of it this way:

                Hopkins fought Wright on PPV.
                Taylor fought Wright on WCB.

Taylor = not a PPV fighter.

So Taylor-Miranda would not be PPV. It would probably be a really good fight though!

I can't say that Taylor will expose Miranda because Miranda has already been exposed. A lot of fans simply failed to take notice apparently. Taylor will outbox and KO Miranda within six rounds. Bet all of your points on it.

Unfortunately he didnt, and that was the biggest problem. He had trained hard for his previous 3 fights, and never took anytime off from the gym. With 6 weeks notice HBO offered him the fight with Pavlik and Edison came back from Colombia weighing close to 210lbs. ****** for him to get this heavy, but it is what he had to work with. He thought Pavlik was going to be a walk in the park compared to Allan Green (as he heard from his good friend Zuniga who had already fought Pavlik and put him on the canvas). He took training camp waaaay to light, and when it came time to lose the final 10lbs, he was not in the condition to do so. That is what killed him. It was hard enough making 160 in top shape, but it was nearly impossible being less than 100%.

I just again watched the fight. Just watch Edison during his walk to the ring. He looked horrible. He always has a ****y attitute and is pumped up in his ring walk. Here he looked like he was going to a funeral. He is a dumb **** for going into the ring that night. But like he has said, he knew he wasnt close to 100%, but he thought he would have what it would take to beat Pavlik.... boy was he wrong!

this would be a great fight.. i gotta go with taylor though, i think he's too skilled for miranda, and would win by ud.. i think taylor can go further in that division than miranda could as long as he's focused
