LAS VEGAS – Jermain Taylor fought Kelly Pavlik's fight in September and got knocked out and lost his middleweight championship.

In their non-title rematch on Saturday, Taylor fought the fight he had hoped to fight the first time.

And Pavlik still came out on top.

If they fought 100 times, Pavlik would probably win 95. But each of them would be entertaining.

"I don't see why, but if they want us to do it, we'll take the payday," Pavlik trainer Jack Loew said, shrugging his shoulders, of a potential third meeting between the two after Pavlik scored a unanimous decision in a more tactical but still exciting bout before a loud crowd of 9,706 at the MGM Grand Garden"

Why is Jack such an arrogant asswipe?

That explains why some his shots looked like they were soft punches.

IMO I think the fame has gone to Loew's head more than Pavlik's.

yah, i think so as well, but who cares. he made a winner with kelly so he can have it! he is a bit gruff, but he is ok!

Yeah, I saw Pavlik land a right and then he shook his hand and that made me think he hurt it.

I wouldnt read too much into anything Kevin Iole writes about Top rank fighters, Bob Arum sponsors Yahoo (Boxing) so i expect them to make all sort of excuses, Unless i see a similar report from another non-biase site i wouldnt believe it.

i am thinking this is why he did not finish jermaine in the 11th! he looked hurt and ready to go, and i was wondering wtf was up!
