Sir, Pavlik did not land more punches, he threw more but landed less. Don't pay attention to the compubox stats, cause it's wrong.

Taylor controlled this fight with his jab and landed some great combinations to the head/body. Pavlik's was missing most of his jabs. Pavlik clearly lost in my opinion.

Better jab - Taylor
Better body work - Taylor
Better power punches - Taylor

Better air - Pavlik

I normally dont pay attention to compu box stats, I know sometimes thats HBOs way of justifying their fighter. I saw Pavlik backing Taylor up and landing the more effective shots, Taylor's defense was good and blocked a lot of shots, but I still gave it to Pavlik.

I Know Taylor seemed to be hurt.. But I seem to remember Pavlik backing up for the 1st time in the fight.. I might have it confused with round 10..
