jermaine didn,t do enough to win...

he tried to conserve energy for the later half of the fight and he still couldn,t keep does reserves...he only threw counter when he had to, he never had pavlik hurt or he never pushed kelly back...he thought that if he did the same **** he been getting away with for the last few years on countering shots and trying to steal rds. at the end of the round, he,d win... surprise!!! that they saw his punch output and his aggression in which there wasn,t much of ... good decision for pavlik... i had it 115-113 kelly...

Good post! If Jermain had thrown more punches, the result may have been different.

The punch stats are a good indication of what happened in this fight.

If you miss you still win?

      Lol..

numbers don't lie. Its funny. DO all fighters have to throw and miss half of what they throw? Taylor was landing some clean shots!

Taylor won 8 clear rounds, the judges and the 2 men that were controlling the menstats were on Bob Arum's payroll.

Most unbiased posters on this site and every other site agree that this fight wasn't a robbery.

I'm sorry if any of you guys lost some money betting on Taylor but that's what happens when you bet on a close fight.
People who said this fight was 50-50, a toss-up were right.

              right

you got to busy the whole fight if you want to win you just can,t sit back and counter and think you won... when merchant asked him about the fight he even said that he thought it was closer, and then he hesitated when he was asked if he won ...like the guy said in the other post, now jermaine see how hopkins felt and winky, and cory...

117-111 was a horrible score. even 116-112. i had it 115-113, but coulda seen it a draw. i honestly didnt even think taylor looked like he wanted besides he few short bursts. pavlik won....taylor could defintly clean up super middlewieght though in my opinion.
