    Scoring Rounds Even?

    Does nobody do this?

I score rounds even quite often but it doesn't seem as if anybody else does this. For example, round eight in tonight's fight could quite easily have been scored even but I don't think anybody did and my question is why not? If a round is too close to call then don't call it.

I don't do it, can't see it being done unless a poin is deducted.

I don't see what's dumb about it. What does seem dumb to me though is pressure to choose a winner in a round where there is no clear winner.

Very true. If it's evenly contested. Why allow the fight to rest on virtually a coin toss, if it's a close fight. Too close to call, don't. Very simple logic.

Good statement, true. I'm guilty myself too often.
