Pavlik vs Taylor (why it was boring)

Jermain kept his hands up, threw very few punches and was jaywalking the whole fight. He threw the occasional combos but was afraid of return fire and now everybody is ****ting on Pavlik cause Jermain wanted to pull a Roy Jones and lose a decision.

You know what boring was Taylor against small guys like Ouma and Spinks who were going after him trying to make the fight not the other way around.

Pavlik maybe should have thrown more body shots but hey nobody's perfect and nobody has a perfect night every night out. Bernard and Jermain stunk out the joint for years.

Just imagine you just beat Hopkins 2 time!! and the fight Ouma & Spinks, im sure you wouldn't perform at your peak either.

What was Taylor meant to do? The tactics he tried last time proved unsuccessful so he had to try something different and his options were limited.

It was not a great fight at all, Both fighters were very defensive, Pavlik had his glove up in his face every second of the fight.

Well it's not like he was very entertaining in his other fights like Joppy and Marquez. Taylor is a big kid that used to intimidate smaller mdweights with his one-two and his speed. He got beat by a bigger middleweight with a better one-two albeit a bit slower.

Juan Diaz is a fighter who is pretty basic himself one-twoing , one-twoing until you're all tatted up in the face and then he'll go downstairs.

Wladimir is another example of a basic one-two fighter.

Kessler too is a 1-2 fighter and he got narrowly outpinted by Calzaghe. Those are all great, p4p fighters.
