as long as he ducks calzaghe, then forever probably. Since no one at 160 can beat him. He's too big for that weight class

        Calzaghe is headed for 175.

How is a middleweight fighter ducking a light heavyweight fighter?

If you think about how long Pavlik will last undefeated then my prediction is 4 fights.

Wins over Duddy, Tito and Abraham.
            Loss to Calzaghe.

Depends very much on his choice of opponents.

If he stays at middleweight & fights the likes of Duddy & other moderately decent contenders he could build up a nice franchise for a few years.

Pavlik is the kind of fighters that will stop lesser opponents impressively, & look exciting doing it.

And if anyone stands in front of him & exchanges, you're looking at an exciting war.

However, I'm viewing Abraham & even Sturm as pretty close to a toss-up after the last performance.

Pavlik doesn't seem to deal well with angles, & in spite of his height & reach advantages, his jab can be almost completely negated if his opponent has a good jab of his own.

Sturm is a good, solid boxer with an excellent jab, & inspite of the size difference, could see Felix outboxing Pavlik if he has a good night.

As for Abraham, he's a very hard, accurate puncher with a solid defence, & Pavlik is there to be hit.
However, he tends to fight in spurts & Pavlik can outwork him if he dousn't get caught with too many big shots.

He loses to either of these guys, which I think is a definite posibility, the bandwagon ends.

Could even see him losing to an old Tito if he manages to pull a last big fight out of the bag.

Don't see him moving up successfully to Super-middle either.

Think that Calzaghe & Kessler outbox him by a pretty decent margin,
& maybe Mundine & Bute as well.

As long as he remains an exciting fighter, I'll pay to watch him. I guess that makes me a fan.

Kessler is Junk. Calzaghe would be a good fight but is going up in weight. Keep in mind Pavlik is only 25.

Pavlik will clean up the middleweight division and move up, so I say 5+ more fights. Right now, there's not a middleweight that could beat him. If Arum promotes him the way he does all his top fighters he'll gain a lot of respect. Arum usually lets them fight tough (undefeated) contenders and hopefuls, just look what it did for Cotto and his resume
