Agreed, this is an important, possibly historic fight so I'm glad it will be Merchant's soundbytes going on the archive reel.
Something about his voice just goes hand-in-hand with boxing, it's the historical perspective. Kellerman's voice is just annoying and gives off the impression of exactly who he is : a geeky, by the books kind of guy who prefers only boxers and never fighters, who's only real opinions of older fighters are taken directly from somebody else's perspective.
Merchant had some memorable quotes during the first fight between Pavlik and Taylor, "This must be a good fight Jim, I already have 5 drops of blood on my shirt", LOL...."Muscle memory strikes again" after Pavlik KO'd Taylor.

Nice, they're almost polar opposite, great insight. I agree. Merchant is completely his own man and Kellerman try's to be everybody's man.
