In boxing, things change on a daily basis. Yesterday, it seemed as if Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi would be poised to face Ricardo “El Mochuelo” Torres, or possibly even Ricky “Hitman” Hatton, in his next match. However, Torres’s team declined and Hatton has decided to instead face Juan “Hispanic Causing Panic” Lazcano instead May 24 in Manchester.
This means that Malignaggi has set his sights on the man Hatton has not wanted to fight for years: Junior “The Hitter”
Witter. "I want the Witter fight because it means the most at 140 pounds. I want to beat people that will prove myself in the division."
If the Witter fight does not come through, Malignaggi does still owe a rematch to Lovemore “Black Panther” N’dou, a match that would most likely take place in Malignaggi’s homeland of Sicily.
much respect to paulie if hes serious. i hope dhop is out and paulie steps in.
