According to a recent interview with promoter Bob Arum, Felix "Tito" Trinidad's possible title shot at WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik is on the shoulders of Trinidad himself. Arum tells Primera Hora that in order to move forward, he needs to first find out if Trinidad will accept a fight with Pavlik, then the Puerto Rican fighter will have to agree to the weight-limit of 160-pounds, and of course the money would have to be right. y'all could joke and laugh all you want yo but no way does Kelly Pavlik hit as hard as Roy Jones Jr, Pavlik has accumilation power, he was catching Jermain with a seris of 1,2's and a variety of power punches all to the head consecutively, it's accumilative pressured power thats why his best wins ended with the opponent in the corner or on the ropes. Roy Jones power when he lands is more fluid. bottomline Tito is gonna sign a fight he CAN win, styles make fights and this one is an all out scrap which is what Tito wants, Tito wants someone who's going to sit there with him and punch away, he's looking for someone who isn't backing down or shelling up and is just coming for war because thats HIS kind of fight, Tito can win this fight yo..
Tito will be shoter but Tito is a BIG body puncher, he has power in both hands and has been in with ****ers something like Pavlik before, he has a style built for the kind of fight Pavlik is going to bring, it will boil down to who catches who and who hits harder, they both bringing a very hittable style to the ring, no breaks is gonna be taken in a fight like that and Trinidad got power to do it yo, do NOT sleep on Tito's power yo cuz he might just slump Kelly Jermain style, don't wave Tito out just yet..Comment
