Mosley isn't disciplined enough to box the whole 12. He says himself he could do the stick and move but it bores him to much and it bores the crowd so he rather get a little dirty in there. He does do much better in most rematches though.

people forget that Mosley isn't a traditional "control the ring with the jab and move in circles" type of "Boxer"

he is a hyperactive fighter with quick hands and ripping body shots...he is not a "brawler" per say..but he is no Winky Wright, Floyd Mayweather or Larry Holmes

Mosley won't win a rematch with Cotto, even on his toes I see Cotto adapting and winning by a larger margin than he did the first fight. Mosley just doesn't learn from his mistakes, he can't see his own flaws and leave the past behind him. Mosley probably beats most top 10 welterweights out there, he has the option of fighting Cotto and probably losing again or fighting Quintana and maybe once again becoming a champ. I really like Mosley, but in this point of his carreer he should be thinking about his legacy rather than his ego

          Agreed! If he boxes him....

If he's ****** enough to fight on the inside again, he may get stretched.

yer fair point mate, i actually liked mosley for the win in the first fight. thing is, he's not getting any younger and cotto will probably be peaking over his next 3 to 4 fights so i dont think sugar shane would stand much of a chance in any rematch. might be best off taking the quintana fight

Should be a intrestin fight between Judah and Mosley. I have Mosley beatin Judah and Cotto beating Mosley in the rematch if it happens.

Mosley has enough gas in the tank to come on late against Zab. At this point he's better than a Baldomir is, as long as his chin holds up it's going to be the same fight.

Because just like in that fight, Mosley will take some big punches, but his right hand will start to land as the fight goes on. I really think Shane will be stunned once or twice too, but no way Judah takes him out.

Mosley has never been a good "boxer". If he tried to box all 12 Cotto would figure him out by the third and punish him the rest of the way. Mosley fought the fight he should have fought. Most of the people who thought it was a draw or had him winning use the running theory anyway, where Cotto lost the last four rounds from running away.

Mosley fought exactly as he should of done, he aint a great boxer he is kind of a counterpunching fighter! He lost not thru tactics but because at this point Cotto is better plain and simple.

People forget that Mosley lost 1/2 the rounds that he "boxed" in. Mosley won the IIRC 7th round when he started boxing and it had Cotto a bit confused. 8th round Mosley was still on his toes but he got hit a lot more than the previous round and I believe Cotto took the round.

BTW Mosley was never a boxer. Mosley has been a flurry type of fighter, like a WW RJJ. He doesn't use his jab which is more of a range finder and flicking jab. PBF has a much better jab when he uses it. Mosley gives good movement has good reflexes and jumps in with flurries and 2, 3, 4 punch combos.

Have to admire Shane's ambition at this stage in his career.

I think he can beat Judah. As for Cotto.......well if he moves his head and uses his guard this time he might be in with a chance.
