i can buy ppv's ad im in freaking mexico....i doubt theres much more poor people in the us.....hell my aunts and uncles who are american citizens have like 20 times the money i have and theyre middle class.....

Cost of living is a lot higher here in the US. In Ohio you can rent a three bedroom house for $400 a month. Here in San Diego you're VERY lucky to get a two bedroom apartment in South East for $700 or 800. I bet it's cheaper to live in Ohio than wherever it is you live in Mexico.

I love MMA but this Tank Abbott vs Kimbo Slice fight is pretty much a joke.
No one in the MMA scene treats this fight seriously, it's equal to Tyson fighting Holyfield in boxing today.

Decent undercard though, Andre Berto's brother Edson is fighting UFC veteran Yves Edwards and HW prospect Antonio Silva is fighting former UFC HW champion Ricco Rodriguez.

At least Tyson and Holyfield were former legitimate world champions. I'm not a hater man...I'm really not but don't equate washed up or old gimmicky MMA stars to Hall of Fame boxers. It's not the same thing.

In no way am I comparing Kimbo or Tank Abbott to Mike Tyson and Holyfield.

But a fight between Holyfield and Tyson (two 40 year old, washed up boxers who have taken too much punishment) right now would be as big of a joke as the fight between Tank and Kimbo.

I would be buying this fight, but I got laid off a couple of weeks back so I had to make a choice between this fight or the Pac/JMM fight next month. A hard choice, but I've been waiting for the JMM/Pac rematch for a while and am choosing to purchase that fight instead. Anyways I'll probably watch the Pavlik/Taylor fight on Sopcast anyways. As for the Tank/Slice of Bread fight, i'll probably watch some of it since it will probably be on earlier. I think it's a joke as well, but for some reason interested in it. Plus I didn't know that Edson guy was Andre's brother, plus the guy from Celebrity Rehab is fighting (Ricco). He must have kicked his blow habit.

......I have to stay home and watch the kids tonight as the wife has a work function. I usually watch the fights with a neighbor of mine but he has had some issues lately and is out of the picture. It feels kind of silly and wasteful to pay $50 to watch a fight by myself when I can just catch the stream, but I will probably bite the bullet and get the PPV anyway.
