Taylor has to make Pavlik miss to beat him, and Taylors good enough to do that. I'm only wondering if he is smart enough to set that gameplan up. I'm pretty sure if it was Calzaghe/Pavlik, Calzaghe would make Pavlik look as bad as Jeff Lacy if not worse since Calzaghe keeps getting better with each passing fight. Kessler is fast as ****, and Calzaghe made Kessler miss alot.

I think it is, that's why I think he'll win.

Two outcomes Pavlik TKO or Taylor decision.

he has to use his superior speed both foot and hand to consistantly beat Kelly to the punch. He also needs to stay of those ropes or he is getting KTFO. Pavlik is a beast, but he still looks kind of slow to me, but his punches do get there!

Taylor doesn't seem the smartest, he could get done again. If it was Joe Calzaghe fighting Pavlik I agree with Boxing Knight I'd pick him to win pretty emphatically, obviously not Lacy like though.

How does he fight from the outside so effectively as to render a descison over 12 when he's going against a guy who's taller than him, long, long jab, outjabed him in the first fight and who isn't fleetfooted.

He's needs more lateral movement to keep Pavlik turning rather than backing straight up but he's not going to be able to stay out of danger and dictate the fight just with footspeed totally evading everything jumping in and out past Pavlik's jab, no way this kind of fight happens. If this does go to a descison there will be alot of rounds that could be viewed as close and it will be a controversial one.

Another thing Pavlik and Jack Loew know boxing compared to Jermaine Taylor.
