                the irony as someone pointed out above is that weeks did the johnson/chavez fight so he has one death on his record

                and smoger has none

                        No, there's not a referee alive who would have stopped it in the second round, except maybe that O'Connor fella who stopped the Manfredo vs. Calzaghe fight.

                            A stoppage would not have been ridiculous, not any worse than Smoger stopping Taylor (Not that it was bad, Taylor couldn't get up). When Kelly was sprawling across the ring with his back to Jermaine I thought it was stoppage time. Pavlik was really ****ing hurt!

                                weeks record looks decent. rewatched him doing the guerrero/honorio of most recent where honorio got knock out in the first and it was a good call.
