    Sad Gerald McClellan Interview

This is years after the Benn fight when McClellan is totally incapacitated. I feel so bad for McClellan because he is a human being with human feelings yet so few outside of Roy Jones Jr and Lou Dibella have done anything for him.

That interview was really sad, unfortunately that's what boxing can do to a person.

Roy should know that knockout punches don't cause brain damage as much as prolonged punishment.

Gerald could take unbelievable punishment from punchers like Jackson and Benn without flinching. Most of the damage was probably done in the first fight with Julian Jackson.

McClellan's greatest moment in the ring, the day he became the WBC world champion.

there are so many people across the world that get ill and stuff. it's sad, but people do get ill and die. as i have heard he was such a brutal person it makes it very difficult for me to say that i am sad myself.

I respect Roy for the fact that he doesn't want to seriously hurt his opponents if he doesn't have to.
