Pavlik and Taylor Using Boxing Boots With Michelin Tire Sole Technology
Everlast Worldwide, Inc. is proud to announce Kelly Pavlik and Jermain Taylor will be wearing the new Everlast Hydrolast Lockdown High Professional Boxing Boot featuring Michelin tire sole technology on Saturday, February 16th during a highly anticipated rematch between the two renowned fighters. The fight will take place at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas .
The new Everlast professional boxing footwear incorporates design elements from the Michelin® HydroEdge tire through
an exclusive partnership with Everlast and Michelin. The outsole of the shoes feature a high-tech Michelin rubber compound combined with Hydrolast technology specifically tailored to channel liquid away from the shoe, therefore withstanding excess water, sweat and other substances on training and competition surfaces. The new technology allows professional boxers to have more confidence in their footwear with optimum traction, strength and durability. In addition to the Michelin technology, the Hydrolast boot features exceptional shock absorption and cushioning, lush breathable panels and lightweight synthetic leather and mesh upper for support and durability. The new boot will be available in stores and through online distributors nationwide this spring.
