    Dam i just re-watched hamed v kelley

Merchant summed it up great at the end "we just witnessed the hagler hearns of featherweight fighting"

what a fight! i miss naz so much. love him or hate him he always brought entertainment and drama. He's probably the hardest puncher ever at 126 and its a shame he retired when he did. Does anybody else miss Naz?

Naz is the hardest puncher under 130 pounds I've ever seen.

Who exactly would have more punching power P4P also? lmfao. The sound his gloves made resembled a hard hitting LHW or cruiser.

Naz was a great entertainer and one hell of a puncher. So what if he's arrogant he still got us entertained.

suprising fellas i always thought most americans didn't like him... and its understandable. he was arrogant, flash and ****y. i like his vulnerablity in fights as well, it added so much excitement. Naz could be dropped but you always knew in the back of your mind he could produce the most sickening shot from any angle. i would of loved to have seen him fight morales

Wilfredo Gomez gives Naz a run for his money. 44 wins, 42 KO's.

Yeah I think he would have had hell with a prime Morales.

But then again who knows, styles make fights. It's worth pointing out however, that M.A.B. was able to impose his style on Naz mainly because it was the more technical and well.......any style is technical compared to how Naz used to fight.

Morales had the capacity to fight as technical in his prime using the jab and throwing the straight right. But he used to throws so many crazy straight combinations that I'd say it would be hard for Naz to escape.

Naz moved straight back relying on his athleticism at times to avoid punches...........there would be no way he could get away with that against Morales who used to come forward in boxing fashion, throwing left right left left right right left right.

agreed Runw/knives. naz's chin was always in the air and he moved back in straight lines. kelley was actually using his jab very well against naz and landing crisp shots but he didnt have enough to sustain it. Morales would of capitalised all day long, plus he was so rangy so im guessing he would of had quite a large reach advantage

if naz could make morales go to war (and he's prone to doing it) then his chances of winning increase ten fold. But like you say, trying to predict the outcome of any naz fight is almost impossible. He could lose 11 rounds and come up with the single shot knock out at any time

This prob sounds a bit crazy cus naz was dropped on numerous occasions in his career, but i think he had a pretty good chin. it always seemed to be a balance issue more than anything
