Zab Judah in The Lead For Mosley on May 17

A source close to the situation has informed BoxingScene.com that former undisputed welterweight champion Zab Judah (36-5, 25KOs) is still the current frontrunner to face former three-division champion Shane Mosley (44-5, 37KOs) on the new tentative date of May 17, and not the previously reported date of May 31. Man, I would love to see Mosley get another belt around his waiste, Quintana would be a better fight for him. After his bout with Cotto I think he could still do it

I want to see Zab-Mosley more than Quintana-Mosley, but Quintana is a better choice for Shane...

Mosley/Zab is probably the bigger draw and make more money for Shane, but Quintana has a belt and the fight means more in the division. I like either matchup, but I would rather see Shane fight Quintana.

How does Zab Judah still manage to get these big fights? His last 6 fights have resulted in 2 wins, 3 losses and 1 NC.

he should fight quintana in may and let judah fight atleast 2 more times against some top fighters that he could beat (like Clottey and Collazo) so it'll create more of a buzz. and than mosley should fight judah later on in the year.

I agree with that, but I can't see Quintana coming back by May 17. He'd have to start training again almost right away.
