Earnie Shavers KO's Roy "The Tiger" Williams. Shavers took a brutal beating and was about to be stopped with Williams already celebrating his victory until Shavers unleashes that one last assault of rights and lefts.
Williams was gone, an ending straight out of a Rocky movie.

Which is ironic because Shavers was supposed to be a part of Rocky III but he punched Stallone so hard Stallone threw up and wasn't invited back.


Shavers scores the best win of his career over former world titleholder Ken Norton in a brutal first round knockout.
The fight against Shavers was supposed to give Norton a rematch against Holmes after their great first fight which ended in a split decision for Holmes.
This match proves that you can never count Earnie Shavers out as Earnie got the title shot against Holmes instead and we all know what happened there. Shavers couldn't make the shot count but he gave it his all.


Shavers fights Muhammad Ali.
This is the second round of the fight, Ali shows his chin and Earnie shows his power. This could've been the best Shavers we ever saw, he had enough conditioning to go the full 15 rounds because he actually prepared for this one.

I like the part in this fight when Holmes has Shavers cornered and hits him with both hands at the same time, like a baseball swing.

I'm not gonna sit here and say he would've won.. Because that was a deadly ****ing punch right there. He would've gotten up, simply because he has the heart of a Champion.
