Alex Arthur to face Joan Guzman

Apologies if this has been posted already. Had a quick look and didn't see that anyone had. Many people didn't think the fight would go ahead in Scotland due to Guzman's reluctance to leave the U.S.

The purse was bought for $280,000 and will go ahead on April 26th.

    Go for it Ecky!

    Original story:
EXCLUSIVE: Alex Arthur was last night handed the fight of his life when Frank Warren won the purse bid to put the interim champion in with reigning world title holder Joan Guzman.

I give Arthur a 17% chance of winning this.

The hand speed will be to tough for Arthur to handle. Too bad Guzman couldn't get a bigger fight. He should try to get a fight with Valero. Possibly in Mexico where Valero is allowed to fight.

I have only seen Guzman fight once but been told good things about him. It should be a good fight but I think Guzman will be to much for Alex.

Hmmm. It seems no-one is giving Ecky a chance. Okay, he's not world class yet but I think he'll give Guzman a harder challenge than y'all think.

                  I give him a 10% chance.

That comes from me wanting him to win.

Hmmm. Gonna have to make sure my heart doesn't rule my head when it comes to betting on this fight by the sound of things. I still think he'll have a better chance than 10%, 14% or 17%.

                    Maybe 25.2%
