Joe Calzaghe would have defeated Bernard Hopkins at any time in B-Hop's career. Joe is definitely more athletic and talented.

I think Hopkins might take it but their fight could change my mind, depends on how they look like. Calzaghe will probably take it right now.

No wonder, he didn't fight in the US.
I'm not terrible impressed with Calzaghe. His best win might be Kessler, a fighter I don't view as terrible great.

I won't say anything ****** about Calzaghe, as he's a good champion with a fighter's heart and is gifted with fast hands and a good head.
But still, I feel he's overrated.
The man is flawed, which I believe fighters of Hopkins' calibre in his prime would take advantage of.

Like I said, I would expect the fight to be very close. Joe is no ****** journeyman, has fast hands, a good chin, tremendous heart and a high workrate.
I can understand a reluctance from Hopkins to travel to Britain to fight somebody no one knew who was, and a bigger man at that.

The way I see it, Joe should have fought some in the U.S to make a name for himself were it matters, and thus making his challenges legit.
It's not ducking or avoiding or **** like that.
Calzaghe didn't exactly go out of his way to fight Hopkins either...
