    Can edison miranda make LHW?

Can Edison Miranda make LHW? cause he looked rearly big as a super mid against david banks.
Would he keep his punching power at LHW?
If he could keep his power at LHW he would tear through that division i think and if roy jones was brave enough to fight miranda because of his lack of boxing skills he would get koed imo and i also think bhop will get hurt to.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, the Light heavy division is pretty weak and if he weighed around 190 for his fight against banks, well that should tell you everything you need to know right there. He's 6′ 0″, so there are lots of guys a little taller than him, but not a huge difference I don't think. SM is so packed with talent that it may benefit him better to go up.

Miranda is better off KO'ing a few journeymen in the SMW division to hype himself up again (like he has already done), then fight and beat someone like Lacy or Bika in a slugfest to establish himself as a contender again.

He might then get a title shot against someone like Bute or Mundine but if that doesn't work out a move up to the LHW would be a good choice.

When Calzaghe goes up to LHW there will be lots of vacant titles up for grabs so Miranda might want to wait for that.

yer i imagine that he would be very competitive at light heavy. he probably wouldnt be quite as effective power wise and i think it would be wise to stay at super middle for the time being. maybes move up in a year or two

hmm i suppose but lhw would benefit miranda cause none of them except chad have a fast workrate or speed but some super mids would probz have that it would give him trouble.

He just needs to slowly move up so he can keep his power and speed.

168lbs is good for him right now. He probably wont stay here for long. He walks around at 200lbs right now and still looks pretty lean. He will get down to about 180-185lbs pretty early into training camp and stay there until the final weeks. As long as he has been training hard he can lose the final 10-12lbs in just over a week safely.

In the future, and if he can be successful, Pantera will have the option to fight even at heavyweight. I have seen him at 210lbs (6 weeks before the Pavlik fight) and he looked like a monster. Not James Toney fat, just freakin huge!
