OK,I'm up to speed on Sven Ottke...

During his career,I never had the [dis]pleasure of watching him fight.
I maybe saw him against Brewer....and I don't know how many times he was on USA tv,very few I assume.

Since there has been much talk on the forum recently,I have read several columns about him and watched a couple of his fights on YouTube.

I now wish to be counted with the 'haters'...
The Robin Reid fight was a joke...no news there.But to see him looking at the ref when Reid would crack him...to see the ref warning Reid for hitting him???

And to watch the first 4 rounds of that fight...and know that the judges gave those rounds to Ottke???...what a joke,actually a crime.

Does this guy ever speak on his career?...does he know or care that the rest of the world thinks he is a joke?
Does he really think he won the Reid fight,not to mention several others?

The term joke is too light for this 'fighter'...he and his career seem like an abomination.

Ottke is black mark against sports. Not just boxing.

You must admit it was quite funny, when that ref warned Reid for nailing Ottke with a glorious counter that buzzed Sven.

Reid is a saint. He must have felt like just cracking the ref.

I don't know how Ottke can let this happen himself, i mean if I was him I couldn't handle the guilt of cheating opponents almost every fight. Also after the reid fight, and most other fights, when they announce the bull**** decision they have all these cheesy fireworks and conffeti. The crowd go nuts aswell, well nuts by german standars i.e. a fit of hard clapping, surely they must see the corrupt and biased officiating. It is just a disgrace to boxing!

There are fighter who I don't particularly like, but I don't hate any boxer around at the moment. When it comes to Sven Ottke though, I feel hatred for him. As you've mentioned the way that old Sven complained to the ref when Reid would hit him with perfectly fine punches incensed me. My sympathy lies with all those boxers who have been robbed against Ottke (Reid, Brewer, Mitchell, Starie, Larsen and Johnson). Welcome to the Sven Ottke hatred society btw, we are the fastest growing hatred society on the net.

they are. Watching two men fighting to silence is eerie.

The only other people are *****'s watching Gypsy fights at fun fairs lol.

But in fairness to *****s, they have alot on those fights. Thousands of pounds,their Van, their horses, their wife. Their shoes. Their shoelaces. Their watch. The shirt of their back, their trousers. Their teeth. Their wedding ring. Their Caravan and their dog.

I don't know what the German psyche is. Because their soccer fans are very passionate and loud.

I can only think that German boxing fans are from a certain socio-economic background or just basically ****s.
