I find it very cool that...

...the good fighters that come out of Mexico or the Phillipines really are the good fighters. There are not very many flash in the pans, who are hyped to be badass because of their amatuer careers.

The Mexican badass has little to no amatuer career usually, and generally has a couple of losses on his record from his early career, when he was fighting to eat.

But those that become good are noticed when they have already beaten a huge name.

It is very rare that a Mexican or Phillipino fighter reaches the upper level of the sport with an undefeated record, because there was no manager/promoter to protect him on the climb up.

Hats off to those that really do have to make the uphill journey to reach the top level of the sport!

Well what I said was right then... if you believe that Pacquiao is the only pinoy that is on the top level of the sport, then all of their fighters on the top level of the sport started from nothing and lost a few early in his career.

Rey Bautista is overhyped. Supposed to be the next big thing out of the Phillipines then got knocked out in 1 by De Leon.

All hate aside, what mexican and filipino fighters have accomplished is amazing given the fact that they are not rewarded in the manner fighters with bigger egos and lesser hearts are.
