Fighters aren't afraid of other fighters. They aren'tafraid of power or the Knockout you take up boxing at the top level and get scared of gettin hurt. They might be scared of what the public think or of dissapointing their fan but it is my belief after much reconsideration fear of another man in the ring just isn't there.
Fighters like Mayweather and ODLH aren't scared they are just more buisness minded than others. Cotta right now doesn't make buisness sense I want to see the fight and most of you do but Mayweather knows after more high profile fights he could make more from fighting Cotto. It's all about buisness when your a superstar.
Others such as prospects or unknown titlist can't afford that thats why fights get made at lower than superstar level.
There are exepections to this such as Mike Tyson who specifically used intimidation techniques, other like Foreman and Liston but overall at the top level I just can't see how you would be scared of another man in the ring when you are fighting at Top level. They chose boxing as a profession and you will get hurt no matter how great you are.
