...will be reminiscent of Lewis v Rahman II. Williams will knock him out. Williams found out who he was fighting in a month, and knowing that it was Quintana, didnt take him seriously or train. Thats apparent in the his weight gain from 146 to 164 overnight. Whenever that happens, it means that a fighter had a difficult time losing the weight becuz they didnt train properly. Everyones saying that Quintana is a top 3 WW, Williams got exposed, and its all bull****. Lets not overhype the situation. Williams did not take the fight seriously, overlooked his opponent, and paid dearly for it. As a result he lost. Its not the first time this has happened in boxing. Any true student of the sport will know this. But to completely ostracize a fighter cuz he lost to an underdog is just foolish. I doubt Quintana will take the rematch. He'll probably go for the most lucrative bout possible while he has the championship title as his bargaining chip. BUT if he does fight Williams again, you will definately see the end of the Quintana bandwagon. I just came this forum, and already Ive seen the issues that past members who came and left this forum have encountered. Its like most of you are 13 year old white boys whos first boxing match was viewed in 2004. Quintana wins and now hes a God. But let Quintana fight Carlos Baldomir and lose and youll all start saying Baldomir can beat Mayweather in a rematch, hes the best, blah blah blah. Lets not get overzealous: Quintana fought a great fight and won. That win was facillitated by Williams lack of focus and training. The only thing Williams consistently said after the fight was that he could never get into the fight. Well, its hard to get into a fight on fight night when you werent in it before. Rematch though, and you'll see Williams right back at the level he was at prior to the loss. Quintana is no more the truth than Rahman, Griffin, Raheem or Corrie Sanders were. This is just my 2 cents. I know boxing.
Williams Vs. Quintana 2...

You do realize he weighed 162 against Margarito and he trained for that fight basically year round considering he thought it was happening on three different occassions. -
Yes I know. He also didnt look Margarito over and not take him seriously. He fought his heart out that fight and it showed, hence his punch output which was more than 1200 sumthin for the entire fight. Yet, against Quintana he threw 552? The difference is like night and day. Its hard for some fighters to get up for the tune-up fights. And in some cases they pay dearly for it. But im not gonna call Cotto and exposed and overhyped bum if he lost to Gomez. A loss wont take away the fact the hes a really good fighter.Comment

Yea and the HW division needed progress as well, but when you have upsets of this nature, you have to set things str8 to find out who should really progress with the division, before u have Mayweather-Quintana fights that are a waste of everyones time.Comment

I dont know after watching the fight it just looks like Quintana had to much skill for Williams, Quintana just out boxed him to beat him. He was giving him alot of angles, styles makes fights. I dont think Williams can beat Quintana, and I highly doubt he has the power to KO Quintana. Williams should fight Clottey that would be interesting, or the winner of Zab Shane if that happensComment
