How Would Williams Do At 154?

I thought Quintana would give Williams problems with his Southpaw style like Zab did Spinks. I also thought Zab could possibly knock Williams out because of it.

However, I also thought that Williams looked pretty sluggish and not nearly as fast as normal. To me I think part of his struggles were that he killed himself to make weight so I think he has to move up. I think its very rare for a fighter to go back to looking as good as they did before once there weight comes into play. I think if he stays at WW then he will lose to most of all of the top 10 guys. I think he gets all his skills back at 154 but wont be nearly as dominant at that weight because his size wont bother them

I think Williams can definitely win a title at 154. He'd have a chance against anyone in that division, especially if he improves at a more reasonable weight for him.

The division is shallow so he'll be a title holder.

I think he would do well. He might feel more comfortable and stronger at 154.

Like others have mentioned the division is wide open. Plus he'll still have a good size and reach advantage. He could definitely compete and possible win a title.

He will beat a lot of fighters... who can't counterpunch.

Weight has nothing to do with the fact that his lack of defense and skill makes him the easiest target in the world for a counterpuncher.

He also has no power to bail him out when he is down big on the scorecards.

If he works on his skill, he can become a great fighter, but until then, he is as ****ed as can be.
