that was a hell of a fight. rounds 10-12 were awsome.

Larios is a bit washed up now and had the brain clot thingy so he cant fight anymore in the US. His career is essentially over.

those were DEFINITELY "championship rounds". i mean, the venue was small and the crowd was small and yet these guys fought as if they were fighting infront of 10's of thousands.

Vazquez ****ed up by not paying attention after the ref was talking which lead to that first knock down. it really is hard to watch him get hurt like that.

Jorge Linares totally ruined Larios in his last fight. He'll never be the same again after that.

I had the opportunity to meet and train in the same gym as Lario back in 98. He was cool to talk to and even mentioned if i wanted to translate for him when he fought in the U.S. Another cool dude was Javier El Chatito Jauregui former 135 champ that dude liked to party hardcore. Manuel Garnica who beat Lazcano but was robbed was also their to I believw he worked as milkman. Damn, I wish I had that time again in Guadalajara MX.
