Would Margarito win a rematch with Williams

Now i am not a big Margarito fan at all. But late in the fight Tony seemed to have him figured and was really coming on strong and taking over a bit, he lost cause it took him 6 rounds to figure Paul out. So do you think that Tony would win in a rematch?

    i think he would.

I would pick Margarito in a rematch for the reasons you said. It wouldn't be easy though because Williams' style will always be difficult for him. Margarito by close decision.

Margarito only lost to Williams because he came in with a bad strategy. He thought Williams would tire out and he could just come on and knock him out late. Well, Williams never tired out and showed he had a great chin. Margarito would easily destroy Williams if he went after him from the start.

I think Paul would beat him again. Margarito's style is perfect for him. As he stands in front and doesn't have too much lateral movement like Quintana did. Then Paul could have his usual punch output and Margarito would have to defend himself so much that his output will be down. I see the same fight as the first one a close decision win for Williams.

Yeah I honestly think he would.

He wasn't himself.............and I know a lot of people who watched him fight for the first time had a bad impression of him as a fighter.

He fought terrible. Just like he did against Santos.....that's not him. He followed them around loading up on chopping shots. Weird.

When he fights like Jirov and lets his hands go it's over.

I agree but that's one scenario, the other would be Margarito coming out more aggressive next time around and not let Williams get his rhythm going leading to a decision for Margarito.

Yeah that very well could happen, as it seemed last time that at first Marg didn't know what to do with a 6'2 guy with a tremendous reach and high punch output.

i think he could, late on in the first fight you could see he had williams basically worked out and was landing well. he would need to start earlier in the rematch
