Cotto is a special fighter. I have thought so ever since I watched him dismantle Juuko on the Barrera/Morales undercard. I thought and still think that Cotto has the goods to be a great fighter.

I hope that Miguel and Floyd can prove who is better in the ring in the near future here.

Seeing as how Floyd will likely be 32 with one fight in the past year and a half when they finally face and Miguel will probably be even better by then, I like Cotto's chances.

I think, without a doubt, this fight proved just how great Cotto is. There is no exaggeration in saying Cotto absolutely destroyed or brutilized Quintana. He did just that within 5 rds. Quintana said it out of his own mouth, I'm done, I can't do anymore, I'm dead. That's a huge statement in saying just how good Cotto is to have done that to someone like Quintana who performed as well as he did against Williams to dethrone him. Quintana has some great tools, but just maybe like Max said, he can't compete with the big big dawgs, and that maybe Williams never was a big dawg and was just made out to be because he beat Margarito who everyone overhyped. A lot of pieces fell together after this fight.

I might be overdoing it but I think when Floyd faces Cotto in 20 years we can look back on that bout and realize these were two all time great fighters that faced off in an ultra bout.

only guy to beat cotto, like most selections indicate, is floyd.

anyone else who THINKS they can beat cotto, is doing only that, thinking.

floyd / cotto looks closer and closer everyday.
