Williams is STILL a force in the Welter Division. If he were to give Margo a rematch, I'd choose Williams in a close SD. He's got the chin to withstand most of the power in the Welter division. Since he is still learning, it wouldnt be that far fetch that he would win the rematch against Quintana.

I am surprised he took all of those power shots. He certainly showed that he has a good punch resistance. I was thinking what Kellerman was saying was going to happen. That is, getting hit by all of those clean left hands leading to Williams getting caught with something huge late and stopped.

A rematch would be interesting because Williams can still make adjustments and use his natural size to more of an advantage. Quintana has a bad style for him though.

true, but the rematch would really show what PWill is about. Making effective adjustments is a sign of a true great fighter. Both Mayweather and Cotto have shown the ability to change things up to overcome challenges. Hopefully, PWill has that ability.

BTW, he should stay at Welter because he would get hurt at Middle.

He's going to get hurt wherever he goes if he doesn't learn to throw his jab from the shoulder and/or use his shoulders and elbows for defense. He's too focused on offense that he gets hit. You can't win against well rounded fighters if you are that easy to hit.

Agree, that actually somewhat sounds like something that can be said of Antonio Margo. kind of ironic really.

Williams went from being possibly the best WW ever to well hes got a good chin..

Id like to see the Williams/Marg rematch. Im thinking Marg would maybe KO Williams.

                  Nope I disagree.

Quintana's style is not made for Williams. For Williams to execute that high punch output if someone is going to stay infront of him.

Quintana would work on his conditioning in a rematch. You can't blame the guy though. He was throwing hard shots since the start.

I know you didnt hype Williams. I was just reiterating what some were saying.
