also i was wondering if Indio, Cintron, and Cotto all have belts in the ww division which one does money may have?....isn't he considered the top dawg at welter?...someone needs to unify this division.......

Floyd is the Man... Cotto is the man he dont want anything to do with.. so that makes Cotto the most feared man...

If anyone deserves that label, it would be Josh Clottey. I don't think Quintana will have trouble getting fights when everyone remembers Cotto making him quit.

Yeah I'd have to say Cotto. Everyone wants a fight with Floyd because of the money, fame, and Floyd's not a huge puncher. Honorable mention to Clottey, who is high risk, low reward at this point.

Had Quintana knocked out Williams, or completely dominated him, it might be him.

The only reason anyone ever turned a Margarito or Williams fight down was because of the high risk low reward factor. Cotto nor Quintana fit that bill. Quintana because even though he's solid, he's also beatable and has something 4 or 5 guys in the top 10 (e.g. Margarito, Williams, Clottey, Collazo and Berto) want but don't have. Cotto because he's a very high reward fight so people are willing to take the risk.

I think now that Margarito and Williams have been beaten the second tier welters NEED to start fighting each other to sort it out. They can't complain about not getting fights or the money being offered. They've all shown vulnerabilities so it's time for them to actually step up and prove they can beat the rest.

So, if we want to figure out who's the new guy no one wants to fight we have to figure out who is least likely to get a fight among the 3-10 guys at welterweight. Who is the guy who needs to become a mandatory in order to guarantee a title shot? In my mind, it's two guys...Luis Collazo and Josh Clottey.

That right hand Hopkins landed on Robert Allen is one of my favorite counter punches of all-time. I know people say that was a boring fight, but I love pulling that tape out to watch that punch.
