Jorge Linares on HBO in May?

So, there's an article that says Daniel Ponce de Leon was offered a fight with Jorge Linares sometime in May on HBO. Ponce de Leon's manager is pissed because he thinks Golden Boy is trying to get Ponce beat. Whatever, but the point is that if HBO is taking interest in Linares that kid is going to become a star.

In lu of what happened with Paul Williams last night, I know I'm putting myself in a bad spot by saying this, but Linares has the tools to be a P4P stud. It seems like HBO might have the same thing in mind.

I know right. Nevermind the fact that he's right. Linares should be able to beat Ponce, but the fact is Ponce is more experienced and a titlist 4 lbs. below Linares. It's a really good fight for him.
