I LOVE that punch. It's so sweet.

A few rounds earlier when Joe had a bit more left in him and Ali would have been lights out from that left.

      Ali had a great chin...
Neither train for 15 round fights though. they train for 12. you have to take that into consideration

There is no doubt in my mind that they would have stayed down or if they did get up the fight would have been called off as Joe would have jumped right on them and Ali had an iron jaw and great recovery rate Lewis and Wlad both had quite weak chins while Ali had possibly one of the greatest chins in History

Jesus apart from the Rahman punch on Lewis non look that great. Ali took much harder shots vs Cooper, Frazier and Shavers.

There arent too many fighters that would be able to continue fighting after that hook, especially that late in such a hard fought fight.

The Rahman punch looks like the right hand Holmes took from Shavers (still the hardest punch I've ever seen anyone get up from), Ali took a couple of those too in his fight with Shavers.

                Lewis vs Oliver McCall.

                  Why show the Brewster fight?
                  That proves nothing.

As someone who has read Frazier's autobiography - God forbid that people should do RESEARCH before answering boxing questions, right? - Joe himself admits that, ISTR "it wasn't that great a punch", just that the war of attrition had led to them both being exhausted.
