We have a situation where there is no clear-cut #1 contender to fight Mayweather. It would play out like this: Williams beat Margarito who beat Cintron and Cotto who beat Mosley, Judah and Quintana who beat Williams and we're back at the start. And this could all happen by the middle of the year. I think in that situation it defers to Mosley if he wins his next fight, just because he is more proven than the rest. But what a cluster**** it would be.

If Mayweather wants the title of best welterweight in the world shouldn't he fight the best welterweight in the world and that would be Cotto?? What is happening to the sport of boxing!!! Fighters are getting crowned as the best in a division without even fighting any of the best ESTABLISHED fighters in the division. What has Mayweather done as welterweight??? PLease!! don't bring up the win over the now new king of the Hollywood division, Dela Hoya who hasn't fought an in there prime fighter in years!!! This ranking of fighters as the best in the division for fighters like Mayweather, Dela Hoya or Hopkins when the only fight old past their prime or blown up fighters.. Mayweathers best win as welterweight was against a ballooned up Jr Welterweight name Hatton. Mayweather is a great fighter and king of the new Hollywood division but until he starts fighting Magarito , Cotto or the now once defeated Williams he shouldn't be concidered as the top welterweightComment

lets just first see if cotto is a good welterweight. Not just one that gives good low blows, and fights losing streak ''i dont want it to be a boxing match'' mosely
