I think he still will beats Cotto if they ever fight and I don't think Margarito is all that good but he does have a very good chin and can punch.

I think Cotto will win a close decision against Margarito. I dont think Cotto can hurt Margarito seriously...He has been there with harder punchers. He will win a 115-113 or 116-112 type of decision (Cotto) because Margarito has a solid chin and has decent power.

Cotto can and should win the fight, that is if his chin can handle Margarito's power.

Cotto's been on ****** street many times so I think Margarito can KO Cotto.

Styles make fights and Williams style was much better for Margarito. Williams was much sharper and more focused for the Margarito fight. Also Margarito depends heavily on his left hook and Paul was able to mostly take that away from him. Margarito took too long to make the adjustments he needed to in that fight. Cotto beat Quintana who beat Williams who beat Margarito. But that doesn't prove that Margarito can't beat Cotto. It just doesn't work that way.

Anything is possible but Cotto has improved a lot. He didn't have a weak chin, he was weight drained at 140 which caused him stamina problems and gave away his legs completely. That **** hurts a lot, just ask David Haye at the moment.

My opinion is like I've said he felt Williams out too long but once he got comfortable he looked better than Williams and won many of the later rounds. I think Quintana watched tape and payed close attention to the later rounds and seen what Marg did right and did wrong and took his gameplan from there. Paul Williams hadn't been exposed or showcased really before the Margarito fight so Margarito wasn't real comfortable with the fight. If Quintana fought Williams first I say Williams wins and if Margarito would have been able to watch film on Williams/Quintana I say Margarito wins. I just feel Margarito didn't have much of a blueprint to go off of like Quintana did!!!! Margarito exposed Williams in the late rounds giving Quintana his blueprint!!!!

IMO Margarito skill wise is just average, but with his toughness and his tough chin he can have a chance against most. Margarito was perfect for Paul since he stood in front of him pretty much the whole fight.

Zab hurt Cotto badly at 147 and Zab is not even a true welterweight. Cotto's chin can be exposed in any fight.

If I was betting man, then I would never put my money on Cotto against Margarito.
