    BoxingScene's Divisional Ratings For February

By Cliff Rold - Beginning next Saturday, the ratings of multiple divisions are guaranteed to see some movement as top Heavyweights, Middleweights, Cruiserweights, Jr. Featherweights and Jr. Bantamweights will all be in action. Thus far in 2008, the Jr. Middleweight division has already seen one well entrenched member of the ratings, Roman Karmazin, knocked out in a rousing upset. Welterweight has seen an even bigger upset with Carlos Quintana winning over Paul Williams. With all that in mind, this February update will address the results so far and serve as a primer for the weeks ahead. [details]

It's not my personal take; it just reflects the formula I'm using.

With their fight mere weeks away, does it matter whose ranked where right now?

I disagree with the Lightweight, Jr. Lightweight and Super middleweight rankings. Rest seem fine...

Juan Diaz should be the man to beat at Lightnweight!

Pound-for-pound is an imaginary barbershop argument cum savvy marketing tool and Mayweather Beats De La Hoya II is a waste of fan’s time and a waste of what’s left of Floyd’s prime. I’m not his accountant so spare me the business arguments. It’s not like Cotto isn’t an eight-figure fight.
