I think Quintana would soundly beat Berto. Rather easily.

If I were Carlos Quintana, I would take some time off, fight a couple of fringe contenders like Alfonso Gomez if he don't get beat up too much, and then rematch Paul Williams. IMO this fight was a FLUKE. That's right, I said it.

            Reasons why Quintana won:

            1. Styles make fights Paul Williams is not much of an offensive fighter or tactical/technical. When he beat Margarito it was due to his output and reach. Tonight, he was fighting a slick southpaw who could make him pay for being sloppy. Looking into Williams record, you will see he hasn't fought a lot (or any?) southpaws. He only had 20-25 amateur bouts, so he probably doesn't have much experience fighting southpaws.

            2. Paul Williams looked totally drained. Here was a guy that gained 17 1/2 pounds overnight. 164 on fight night! He looked totally shot and didn't look on point. I don't think Paul Williams should fight at 147 anymore, I think the smart move would be to move up to 154, and continue to improve, he's only 26.

With that being said, I find it comical that people were talking about how he would "dominate Floyd Mayweather", a lot of people were totally wrong about that and it shows how easily people buy into hype.

Yeah in reality Quintana stands a good shot against anyone except for a no brainer like Floyd's case. lol he isn't beating him.

I want to see Quintana fight Tony.

Because maybe the haters will settle down a bit if they saw Margarito put up a good fight and potentially stop Quintana like Cotto did.

To be honest I don't think Quintana has a punch that can bother Tony.
